According to a report from 'Sport Bild', TSG Hoffenheim is considering a move for Sergio Martinez. The club is led by Austrian sporting director Andreas Schicker. Martinez is an 18-year-old central midfielder from Racing Santander. The report also indicates that the German club faces competition, as Austrian vice-champions FC Red Bull Salzburg, FC Brügge, and two other unnamed Bundesliga clubs are also interested in the player. Martinez has a market value of 500 thousand euros. He recently signed a contract extension until 2029 with his LaLiga2 side, and the deal reportedly includes a release clause valued at three million euros.
