Sam Parker has joined Wycombe Wanderers on a season-long loan from Championship club Swansea City. Parker, who is 20 years old, can play as a right-back or on the wing and is the seventh player to join Wycombe this summer. He made 13 Championship appearances for Swansea following his league debut in December 2023 against Coventry City. At the end of last season, he had four consecutive starts, which included wins against Leicester City and Queens Park Rangers. According to Tom Stockwell, Wycombe's director of football strategy and data intelligence, Parker is an athletic full-back whose pace makes him difficult to beat in one-on-one situations. The Wales U21 international joined Swansea in January 2024, and his contract with the club is valid until 2028. Transfermarkt estimates his market value at €300k.
