According to Fanatik, Alanyaspor has initiated a move to re-sign their former player Salih Uçan. The 32-year-old Turkish midfielder is set to leave Beşiktaş as his contract has ended. Uçan is not part of the new Beşiktaş coach Vincenzo Italiano's squad plans, which led Alanyaspor to take action. Club President Hasan Çavuşoğlu has held talks with the player, and it is understood they are close to an agreement. The transfer was specifically requested by Alanyaspor's Portuguese coach, Joao Pereira, who believes the midfielder would be a valuable addition for the team's domestic player rotation. Uçan played for the club during the 2019-2020 season. Alanyaspor officials are expected to finalize a formal deal with Uçan soon to strengthen their midfield.
