According to Fabrizio Romano, Eintracht Frankfurt were keen to sign Ruud Nijstad this summer. Ruud Nijstad has agreed to a new contract with Twente until 2029 and will not leave this summer.

According to Voetbalprimeur.nl, Eintracht Frankfurt has shown interest in Ruud Nijstad and has reportedly offered more for him than PSV.

Eintracht Frankfurt has a concrete interest in Dutch Centre-Back Ruud Nijstad. PSV is also pursuing the FC Twente player and had a bid of five to six million euros rejected. The offer was reportedly not close to what Twente is seeking for the eighteen-year-old, whose contract expires in 2027. It is not known if Nijstad is open to a move to the Bundesliga or if he has a preference for PSV or another club. According to Transfermarkt, Nijstad has a current market value of €10.00m. He made 21 appearances in the 2025/2026 Eredivisie season, scoring one goal and providing one assist. He has also earned 2 caps for the Netherlands U19 team.
