The player is reportedly open to returning to the Premier League after starting a limited number of Serie A matches this season. In addition to Everton, other clubs including Aston Villa, Manchester United, and Newcastle have also been informed of the situation. The intermediaries have suggested that Milan would be willing to agree to a loan deal that includes an option to buy. There is also said to be interest in Loftus-Cheek from clubs in Italy and Spain. The midfielder joined AC Milan from Chelsea in July 2023 for a fee reported to be €16 million, and he has a contract with the Italian club until 2027. His current market value is €10.00m, and reports in January 2026 claimed AC Milan was demanding that same amount.
