Ronaël Pierre-Gabriel Transfer from Dinamo Zagreb to Widzew Lodz
There is growing speculation in transfer circles that a club in Poland is monitoring the situation of Ronaël Pierre-Gabriel at Dinamo Zagreb. The French right-back has drawn attention for his versatility and current contract status, which could make him a bargain option in the upcoming winter window. Pierre-Gabriel played a significant role for Dinamo last season, operating both as a right-back and on occasions as a left-back, showing useful flexibility for his coaches. However, this campaign has been more troublesome for the 27-year-old, as he has struggled with injury setbacks which have limited his consistency. Meanwhile, his fellow full-back Valinčić has stepped up impressively at right-back, filling the void and establishing himself in the starting spot. Crucially, Pierre-Gabriel’s contract is reported to expire in the summer of 2026, which opens up the possibility that Dinamo may be willing to entertain offers this winter rather than risk losing him on a free transfer. In that scenario, a deal could be negotiated at a relatively lower cost. Among the clubs linked via rumour is Widzew Łódź, a side whose sporting director Mindaugas Nikoličius has good knowledge of the Croatian league, which would ease scouting and negotiation. That being said, for now this is only a speculation. If Widzew or another Polish club were to act, they might view Pierre-Gabriel as a high-value addition: experienced, adaptable, and potentially affordable.
