Rômulo Transfer from Göztepe to Feyenoord

Feyenoord is interested in signing Rômulo as the 'dream successor' to Santiago Gimenez, who was sold to AC Milan earlier this year. Despite Feyenoord's ongoing interest, the transfer is considered 'virtually unattainable' due to Rômulo's impressive performance last season, scoring thirteen goals and providing nine assists for Göztepe. Mark Ruijl, Feyenoord's technical manager, has visited Turkey several times to watch Rômulo play.

Feyenoord has reportedly made a second bid for Rômulo. The exact amount of the bid is unknown. There are rumors from Turkey about this offer.

Fanatik has reported that Romulo is garnering interest from several top European clubs, alongside Fenerbahçe's potential transfer plans involving him. It is noted that Romulo has caught the attention of several European teams such as Leipzig, Ajax, Feyenoord, Roma, Monaco, Fulham, and Anderlecht. Fenerbahçe is also interested, considering the potential departures of Edin Dzeko and Cenk Tosun, as well as the possible sale of En-Nesyri. However, a significant concern for Fenerbahçe is Göztepe's 15 million euro asking price. Romulo is under contract with Göztepe until June 30, 2028, and his market value is estimated at 7 million euros by Transfermarkt.

Hollanda’nın Feyenoord kulübü, ara transfer döneminde Romulo için 7 milyon Euro teklif etti, ancak bu teklif Göztepe tarafından yetersiz bulunarak reddedildi.

Mark Ruijl, technical manager of Feyenoord, was recently in Turkey to watch Rômulo. Feyenoord attempted to bring the striker from Göztepe to Rotterdam at the end of the summer transfer window last year, but it just didn't happen. However, Feyenoord has not given up on acquiring Rômulo. The club wants a third striker alongside Julian Carranza and Ayase Ueda, and the Brazilian is still the primary candidate.

Feyenoord is interested in Rômulo for the role of a competitor to Ayase Ueda. Feyenoord had previously offered a substantial amount for Rômulo, but Göztepe refused to let him go. Recently, Feyenoord's technical manager visited Izmir to maintain good relations.

Feyenoord, a strong team in the Dutch Eredivisie, is accelerating its efforts to transfer Brazilian striker Romulo from Göztepe. Feyenoord has made a strong offer, and negotiations between the parties are ongoing. Romulo was initially loaned to Göztepe from Athletico Paranaense and was later signed permanently for 2.5 million Euros.

Feyenoord expressed interest in acquiring Rômulo, a Brazilian forward from Göztepe, prior to the conclusion of the transfer window. Martijn Krabbendam mentioned on Voetbalpraat that the timing was insufficient to finalize the agreement. Rômulo has achieved nine goals in eighteen league matches this season. Despite the mutual interest from both the club and the player, the transfer will not proceed due to time limitations. Feyenoord had been in search of a replacement for Santiago Gimenez and regarded Rômulo as a strong contender for the role. News of Feyenoord's interest in Rômulo surfaced on Monday morning, but the brief period before the transfer deadline rendered it unfeasible to complete the transaction. In the meantime, Feyenoord is now redirecting its attention to other potential candidates, such as Guilherme from West Ham United.
