Hull City are interested in signing 29-year-old Hungary international Roland Sallai from Galatasaray, and are also targeting his teammate Victor Nelsson. Sallai is on Hull City's shortlist as they seek to strengthen their squad following promotion to the Premier League. According to Sporx, club figure Acun Ilıcalı wants the player and Hull have expressed their interest. The same source claims that steps have been initiated to sign the right-back and that Ilıcalı will lead negotiations with the Süper Lig winners in the coming days. It was reported last month, in the context of interest from Fulham, that Galatasaray are willing to sell Sallai but require a fee of at least €15m, an amount Hull City would have to offer to convince the Turkish club to sell. Sallai, who joined Galatasaray in September 2024, has a contract with the club until June 2028. In the 2025/2026 Süper Lig season, he made 30 appearances, scoring one goal and providing four assists.
