Roko Baturina is reportedly not in César Peixoto's plans and may depart Gil Vicente before the transfer window closes, with Spezia emerging as a serious contender for acquiring the 25-year-old Croatian forward. Italian Sky Sport journalist Gianluca Di Marzio has indicated that negotiations are already underway between the two clubs for the striker, who participated in 25 matches and netted three goals for Málaga last season during his loan from Gil Vicente. Baturina has made only 19 appearances for Gil Vicente since his transfer from Hungarian club Ferencvaros in the summer of 2023, scoring three goals in Portugal before being loaned to Racing Santander and Málaga. His contract with the Portuguese club is due to expire in June 2027, and his market value is currently assessed by Transfermarkt at €600,000.
