Spezia is targeting Frosinone's Gabonese-French player Jérémy Oyono, who was born in 2001 and has one year remaining on his contract. Spezia's sporting director, Guido Angelozzi, discovered the player in France at Boulogne two years ago and brought him to Frosinone following a trial. Other clubs are also interested in the full-back; Greek club Olympiakos Piraeus has been linked with him, and Avellino in Serie B is also interested, which could present a challenge for Spezia. To convince Oyono and his entourage, Angelozzi must present a convincing technical project, as a transfer to Spezia would mean dropping two divisions, making an offer from a higher-league club an alternative. The Gabon international has 15 caps for his country. According to Transfermarkt, his current market value is €250k. Reports in May and June 2026 stated that Olympiakos Piraeus submitted an offer of €1.5 million for the player.
