Rangers have confirmed the signing of FC Twente captain Robin Propper. The 30-year-old defender was granted permission to travel to Manchester on Wednesday night to undergo a medical after terms were thrashed out between both clubs.

Rangers have signed defender Robin Propper from FC Twente. Propper, who moved to the Dutch club in 2021 and captained the team in 39 games last season, is Rangers' ninth addition this window.

Rangers are on the verge of completing the signing of FC Twente captain Robin Pröpper. Rangers have agreed a fee of around €2.5 million with the Dutch club. Pröpper was discussed during negotiations between the two clubs when Rangers sold Sam Lammers to Twente last week.
