Robert Andrich was considered a clear candidate for departure, and the new coach Carles Martínez urged him to transfer. Potential transfers to Eintracht Frankfurt or RB Leipzig did not happen.

RB Leipzig is interested in Robert Andrich. According to Simon Rolfes, a transfer is unlikely to happen before the deadline day. It was previously suggested that Andrich might leave Bayer Leverkusen due to the competition situation.

Bayer Leverkusen has informed 31-year-old German defensive midfielder Robert Andrich that he is permitted to leave the club, despite having two years remaining on his contract. Eintracht Frankfurt had previously shown interest before opting for other players. According to a report from 'Sky', RB Leipzig is now considering the 19-time international. The report indicates that both Andrich and Bayer have been notified of the general interest from Saxony. However, there has not yet been a concrete approach, with the deadline for any move set for Tuesday at 8 p.m. Andrich joined Bayer Leverkusen in August 2021. In July and August 2026, multiple reports cited an asking price of approximately €10 million, while his current Transfermarkt market value is €6.00m.
