KV Mechelen central defender Redouane Halhal has attracted interest from Club Brugge. According to Gazet van Antwerpen, Club Brugge previously showed interest in the 23-year-old last winter. Tom Caluwé stated in Gazet van Antwerpen that it is likely Halhal will move abroad in the summer. The defender did not transfer to Hellas Verona in the winter because he preferred to help KV Mechelen reach the Champions’ Play-offs. Halhal was officially contracted by KV Mechelen in June 2025 until 2026, with an option for an additional year.
