Gabriel Wesseh, an 18-year-old American forward at Fredrikstad FK, has attracted interest from several major European clubs since moving from the US in the summer. Club Brugge, Benfica, and Barcelona are among the teams most interested in the player, who is under contract until mid-2030. It is reported that Barcelona is monitoring him closely; the club has also sent scouts to watch two of his matches. Fredrikstad FK has already rejected a bid of around two million euros for Wesseh, whose market value is estimated at approximately 700 thousand euros. It is anticipated that higher offers could arrive in the winter if the attacker, who has two goals and two assists in 11 appearances, continues his current performance.
