Villarreal is interested in 23-year-old Spanish winger Raúl Moro, who is currently in discussions with Ajax about his future. Villarreal, Ajax's next Champions League opponent, is one of five Spanish clubs reportedly interested in the winger, with the others being Osasuna, Mallorca, Espanyol, and Real Sociedad. The interest from these clubs follows an injury to Takefusa Kubo. These clubs are seeking a loan deal, but Ajax appears to prefer a permanent transfer for the player. Ajax signed Moro from Real Valladolid last summer for eleven million euros. His contract with the Dutch club runs until 2030. In the current Eredivisie season, Moro has made 14 appearances, scoring one goal and providing one assist. A former Spain U21 international, he has 12 caps for the team. His current market value is €7.00m, according to Transfermarkt. He had previously moved to Real Valladolid from Lazio in July 2024 for a fee of €2.0 million.
