Werder Bremen have announced that Ramiz Hamouda will transfer to the club in the summer. According to the club's Geschäftsführer Sport, Clemens Fritz, Hamouda is an exciting player who they see primarily as a centre-back, though he can also play on the left side of the back four. Fritz added that the player is planned for the U23s, where he is expected to settle in after his move from the USA. In 2024, Hamouda previously trained with Werder Bremen on a trial basis.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Ramiz Hamouda will transfer from Birmingham Legion to Werder Bremen on his 18th birthday in May. Hamouda is a regular starter in the second division in the USA. Werder Bremen had shown interest in Hamouda for a longer period and he had a trial in Bremen at the end of 2024. He will now move to the Bundesliga with some delay.
