Newly-promoted Coventry City could attempt to sign 31-year-old English winger Raheem Sterling this summer. Manager Frank Lampard might use his past relationship with the winger, who played under him at Chelsea, to sign him for the club. Sterling's contract at Chelsea was mutually terminated last summer, after which he joined Feyenoord in the Dutch Eredivisie. After a period in which he made eight appearances for the Rotterdam team, he is expected to become a free agent again. Sterling, who has 82 caps and 20 goals for England, has a current Transfermarkt market value of €5.00m. Other clubs, including Juventus and Napoli, have also been linked with the player.
