Union Berlin's sports director, Horst Heldt, revealed the club could not seriously consider a transfer for Raheem Sterling due to his financial demands. It is reported that Sterling was earning more than £300,000 per week at Stamford Bridge. Heldt commented that the offer was hard to believe and did not seem serious, so they did not consider it further.
