According to a Turkish report, AEK showed interest in signing Rafa Silva from Beşiktaş, but the coach, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, opposed the move. Rafa Silva joined Beşiktaş last summer as a free agent from Benfica and had an impressive season with 18 goals and 13 assists in 47 appearances. He is contracted until the summer of 2027 and is considered one of the best players in the team. Solskjaer has requested the management not to transfer him.
