Quinten Timber Transfer from Feyenoord to Lazio
According to Tuttomercato, Feyenoord captain Quinten Timber is an important target for Lazio. With his contract expiring in June, many clubs are ready to act on the opportunity. Timber could decide to wait until the summer to move to the highest bidder, but Lazio wants to try to convince the Dutchman to join in January.
Lazio is reportedly considering acquiring Feyenoord midfielder Quinten Timber this winter, as the club seeks multiple midfield reinforcements. While Kenneth Taylor is close to finalizing a transfer from Ajax, Lazio is also looking at other candidates, which include Alex Tóth from Ferencvaros and Timber. According to transfer journalist Alfredo Pedullà, the Italian club is closely monitoring the 24-year-old Dutch international, who has 8 caps and 1 goal for the Netherlands, and has now officially joined several other interested clubs. Pedullà also noted on X that it is a situation worth following, although he added that Lazio has not yet made an offer to Feyenoord. Timber joined the club in July 2022 and has provided 2 goals and 3 assists in 15 league appearances this season. His contract is expiring, and despite several attempts, the player and Feyenoord have not been able to agree on an extension. Transfermarkt estimates his value to be around twenty-five million euros. The reported fee for Timber's initial transfer to Feyenoord was €7.4 million in July 2022, with the club's asking price reportedly reaching €25-30 million during the summer of 2025.
