Davide Frattesi Transfer from Inter to Lazio

On the last day of the winter transfer window, Lazio made an attempt for Frattesi, presenting a loan offer with an option to buy that would have become an obligation under certain conditions. Inter's management rejected the 30 million euro proposal. According to Giuseppe Riso, Frattesi's agent, there was an attempt by Lazio. Riso also stated that Frattesi would have liked to leave Inter.

Sky Sport reported that Lazio's offer for Davide Frattesi was a loan with an option to buy, which could become an obligation under certain conditions, for a total of 30 million euros. The proposal was rejected by Inter.

According to reports from Italy, Lazio are interested in Davide Frattesi. One report claimed Lazio were prepared to offer around €25m for the midfielder. Matteo Morreto declared that Lazio presented an offer in the last few hours, which was rejected.

Frattesi is a possibility for Lazio for the end of the transfer window. Sportmediaset reports that this is being considered as a late move in the January session. Inter is asking for a high price to let Frattesi leave. Lazio is seeking a replacement for Guendouzi, and a last-minute move for Frattesi could be an opportunity.

According to Tuttomercato, Frattesi remains an important player for Inter, and the club values him at 30-35 million. Lazio inquired about a loan, but Inter is waiting for a real offer which has not yet arrived.

CalcioMercato has reported on a potential swap deal involving Inter's Davide Frattesi and Lazio's Nicolò Rovella. Inter is contemplating a swap deal with Lazio for Nicolò Rovella as they search for an heir to Calhanoglu, and Rovella is among Marotta's preferred choices. The idea for the swap originated from Inter, but challenges persist, such as Lazio's typical reluctance towards player exchanges and the differences in player valuations. Frattesi, who was acquired by Inter for 40 million euros from Sassuolo in 2023, earns an annual salary of 2.8 million euros. Lazio's coach, Sarri, is reportedly open to acquiring Frattesi, having considered him in previous years as a replacement for Milinkovic-Savic, and he plans to discuss this possibility with the club. Il Messaggero has indicated that while Lazio has many midfielders suitable for their 4-3-3 formation, they are looking for a mezzala, a role that Frattesi could fill. A significant obstacle in the deal is the considerable difference in the players' release clauses, with Rovella's set at 50 million euros compared to the 40 million euros Inter paid for Frattesi. Additionally, Rovella's annual earnings of 1.8 million euros are notably less than Frattesi's salary.
