Promise David Transfer from Union Saint-Gilloise to Leeds United

Reports in the English media state that Leeds United is interested in signing Promise David. The transfer is expected to occur in the January transfer window.

According to Voetbalnieuws.be, Leeds United are interested in David as a potential transfer target and have placed him on their list. The report states that Leeds prefer other targets and are keeping David as a backup option. An offer of at least 20 million euros would be required for Union to agree to a transfer. This price is considered very reasonable in England and is not expected to deter the mentioned clubs.

Promise David has garnered attention from Leeds United, with Union SG placing his valuation at approximately 20 million euros. There are ongoing discussions with Union about potentially extending his contract until the summer of 2026; however, he remains open to considering offers in upcoming transfer windows. The Canadian striker, who transferred to Union SG from Estonian club Kalju FC for about 400,000 euros, has made a notable impact by scoring 22 goals this season and has also received his first call-up to the Canadian national team. In addition to Leeds United, Lille OSC and Brighton and Hove Albion have expressed interest in him, according to reports from Sky Sports' Swiss division.
