Hojbjerg arrived at Spurs by the hand of José Mourinho, in 2020/2021, having been hired from Southampton for 15 million pounds (about 18 million euros). However, he lost space with the arrival of Ange Postecoglou to the team's command. With the Greek coach on the bench, Yves Bissouma won the place and Hojbjerg ended up relegated to substitute, having, however, participated in 36 of the 38 games of this edition of the Premier League.
