Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang Transfer from Al Quadisiya to Olympique Marseille
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is set to undergo a medical examination at Olympique Marseille within the next few hours or two days, as confirmed by the club. Assuming a successful medical check, he is expected to sign a contract with Olympique Marseille, the club where he previously played, by Thursday. Olympique Marseille finished as the runners-up in Ligue 1 last season.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has made the decision to leave Al-Qadisiyya in Saudi Arabia and make a return to Olympique Marseille in France. He has terminated his contract with Al-Qadisiyya and turned down interest from another Saudi club, Al-Ettifaq, to focus on his return to Marseille. Aubameyang is set to sign a contract with Olympique Marseille that will last until June 2027. This transfer was reported by L'Equipe, a prominent French newspaper. The 36-year-old Gabonese striker is preparing to reunite with the enthusiastic fans at the Velodrome, under the leadership of Roberto De Zerbi, and will compete in the Champions League, following Marseille's qualification last season. During his previous tenure at Marseille, he achieved an impressive record of 30 goals in 51 appearances in the 2023-2024 season, where he was recognized as the top scorer and best player in the Europa League.
