As part of Simon Ngapandouetnbu's move to Montpellier, his former club Olympique Marseille reportedly retained a priority clause to re-sign the 23-year-old goalkeeper, who also holds French citizenship. According to Africafoot, Le Mans FC also had the player on their shortlist a few months ago. Ngapandouetnbu's contract with Montpellier is set to run until June 2028. The player, who joined his current club in August 2025, has one cap for Cameroon and a current Transfermarkt market value of €2.50m.
