French second-division club Saint-Étienne attempted to sign 21-year-old Belgian-Ghanaian central midfielder Pierre Dwomoh from Watford. Negotiations appeared to be at an advanced stage before the deal was called off. This season, Dwomoh has made one appearance in the Championship. He has also been linked with Turkish clubs Göztepe and Konyaspor. Konyaspor reportedly submitted multiple bids for the player in September 2025. Watford acquired him from Royal Antwerp in August 2024 for a fee reported as between €1 million and €2 million. His current market value is estimated by Transfermarkt at €2.2 million.
