Club Brugge is considering a return for their former player, Philip Zinckernagel, a 31-year-old Danish winger who has attracted attention following a successful MLS season with Chicago Fire, where he registered fifteen goals and twelve assists. A report indicates that Standard and Olympiakos are among the other European clubs interested, and that some large American clubs are also monitoring him. It is reported that Chicago Fire has already rejected a €4 million offer for the player from the Mexican side Pumas. Zinckernagel joined the MLS club in January 2025 from Club Brugge for a fee reported to be €850,000, and his contract runs until the end of 2028. Transfermarkt estimates his current market value at €4.00m. He has been capped twice by Denmark at the U20 level.
