Slovenian winger Niko Kasalo, 20, who is in the final year of his contract with Mura, was close to a transfer to Club Brugge before he sustained an injury. According to club president Robert Kuzmič, Mura will do what it can to ensure the player stays. Kuzmič added that the club has supported Kasalo for years during both positive and difficult periods, and is happy with his progress. The president believes that Mura remains the best career option for the young player, who he feels still has significant potential for development. The Slovenia U21 international has a current Transfermarkt market value of €250k.
