Philip Otele Transfer from Basel to AFC Bournemouth
According to Ben Jacobs of GiveMeSport, AFC Bournemouth are set to rival Birmingham City, Wolverhampton Wanderers, Celtic, and Lazio to sign Philip Otele. Jacobs reports that Basel have lowered their asking price for Otele to approximately €7m, although deals will only be considered if they are for more than that valuation, with Bournemouth interested in making a deal between now and Monday, February 2nd.
According to Jacobs, Philip Otele is expected to leave Basel this transfer window and his current employers have lowered their minimum asking price to approximately €7m. AFC Bournemouth, Lazio and Celtic have made inquiries for Otele. The player is reportedly interested in a move to England, following previous interest during the summer from Fulham, Sevilla, OGC Nice, VfB Stuttgart and Borussia Mönchengladbach.
