Diosgyor have officially announced that they have loaned Peter Ambrose from Scottish club Aberdeen. DVTK's sporting director, Kovács Zoltán, stated on the club's website that they wanted to strengthen the squad with a player who can be deployed in several attacking positions. He also stated that they had been waiting for Peter Ambrose since the preparation period, but administrative obstacles delayed his arrival. Peter Ambrose said that he is returning to Hungary because he wants the challenge of showing his abilities again and that he aims to help the team as best as he can on the pitch.

According to Diósgyőri könyv FB-oldal, Peter Ambrose has arrived at Diósgyőr and could join DVTK on loan from Aberdeen. An official announcement regarding the former Újpest player has not yet been made.

Aberdeen's Nigerian striker Peter Ambrose is set to join Diósgyőr on loan to get regular playing time. The Press and Journal confirmed the striker is not in Aberdeen's current plans, and the Daily Record reports the transfer is delayed because Ambrose is waiting for his visa.
