Pedro Neto Transfer from Chelsea to Benfica
Benfica manager Jose Mourinho, speaking to reporters at a press conference at Stamford Bridge ahead of a Champions League match against his former club Chelsea, admitted he would love to sign 25-year-old Portuguese winger Pedro Neto. Mourinho described Neto as one of the best wingers in the world and stated that Chelsea boss Enzo Maresca is privileged to have three or four players with a similar profile. While confirming his desire to have Neto at Benfica, Mourinho acknowledged that the player is in a different reality with different finances. For his part, Neto said it would be a privilege to be managed by Mourinho. The player's contract with Chelsea runs until 2031, and his value is estimated by Transfermarkt to be €50 million.
