Pedro Lima Transfer from Wolverhampton Wanderers to Wrexham
Wolverhampton Wanderers wing-back Pedro Lima has returned to the club from his loan at Porto B, where he made nine appearances in the Portuguese second tier. Championship side Wrexham had previously shown interest in the 19-year-old Brazilian before his move to Portugal, following his initial transfer to Wolves from Sport Recife in the summer of 2024. According to reports, manager Rob Edwards will assess Lima over the coming weeks before a decision is made regarding his immediate future. Edwards confirmed Lima has impressed since his return and that the club wants to make the right decision for his progression. The manager noted that a decision will be made soon, as any appearance for Wolves would prevent another loan move. If a loan within the English pyramid is arranged, Wrexham could be a candidate to sign him, as Wolves may see it as a good way to test the player against Championship opposition. The defender, who has one cap for Brazil, joined Wolves for a reported €10 million and is under contract until June 2029, with a current market value of €4.00m according to Transfermarkt. Atlético Mineiro has also been linked with the player.
