Nottingham Forest are among a number of Premier League clubs that have monitored Lyon's 25-year-old attacking midfielder Pavel Šulc in recent weeks. The Czechia international, who has 18 caps and 4 goals for his country, has registered 13 goals and six assists since his move from Viktoria Plzen, and has also drawn interest from Aston Villa, Brentford, Brighton, Everton, Fulham, and Bournemouth. Leeds United have continued their interest after showing an interest last summer. Crystal Palace are also interested and might attempt to arrange a deal for both Šulc and his teammate Tyler Morton with Lyon's owner John Textor, a former co-owner of Crystal Palace. Šulc joined the French club in August 2025 for a reported fee of €7.5 million plus €2.5 million in potential bonuses, and his contract expires on 30/06/2029. His current market value is estimated by Transfermarkt to be €12 million.
