Paul Nardi leaving Queens Park Rangers?
Louis Moir stated his belief that Paul Nardi is looking to leave the club, either through a permanent or a loan deal. Moir further stated his belief that Nardi is likely looking for a move away, either this month or in the summer, and probably wants to leave because he is clearly not favored for the number one position. Moir also thinks Nardi might feel somewhat mistreated due to the swapping between him and Hamer. According to reports last summer, the 31-year-old French goalkeeper was informed he would not be needed for this season. Louis Moir added that Nardi needs to leave to revitalize his career. Moir believes a goalkeeper of Nardi's age likely wants to play more regularly, but that this is clearly not going to be at QPR. Moir does not think Nardi will be a QPR player for much longer, whether he leaves in January or the summer. It is stated that Nardi might decide his future would be better away from a club where the head coach is giving every indication that he is considered the third-choice goalkeeper. Nardi, who joined Queens Park Rangers in July 2024, has a contract that expires in June 2026. The former France U21 international has made 16 appearances in the Championship this season and has a current Transfermarkt market value of €1.60m.
