Manchester City are reportedly interested in Barcelona's Pau Cubarsi, whom Hansi Flick’s side is planning on offering a new and improved contract shortly. According to a report from CaughtOffside, Barcelona has no intention of allowing the 19-year-old to depart, and Manchester City are monitoring his situation. It is claimed a deal is unlikely to take place this summer, however Manchester City will be prepared to act if Barcelona is able to finalise a contract extension agreement with the defender.

Manchester City are one of the clubs interested in Barcelona central defender Pau Cubarsi, whose Barcelona contract runs until 2029 and includes a €500m release clause. According to a source with close ties to the agents industry, Cubarsi is highly regarded at Manchester City.
