Patrick Berg was linked with a move to Leeds during the last transfer window. A deal was not completed before the window closed, and Berg consequently remained at Bodo/Glimt.

Following his performance for Norway, 28-year-old defensive midfielder Patrick Berg has been linked with moves to both Leeds United and Everton. His national team manager, Ståle Solbakken, is reportedly not worried about whether the player leaves, believing he has plenty of options. Berg's contract at his current club, Bodø/Glimt, is valid until July 2028 and he has scored 2 goals in 15 appearances in the 2025/2026 Eliteserien season.
