Patrick Berg was linked with a transfer to Everton during the last transfer window. A deal was not completed before the window closed, and he remained at Bodo/Glimt.

Norwegian midfielder Patrick Berg, aged 28, has been linked with Everton and Leeds United after an impressive performance for Norway at the 2026 World Cup. However, it is possible he will stay at Bodo/Glimt, where he is a key player. His current club could again reach the league phase of the Champions League. According to Norway's national team manager, Ståle Solbakken, the Champions League is likely a tempting prospect for Berg, and he can play anywhere. Solbakken is not particularly worried about whether Berg leaves in this window. Berg has 49 caps for Norway, joined Bodø/Glimt in August 2022, and has a contract until July 2028. In the 2025/2026 Eliteserien season, he has made 15 appearances and scored 2 goals. Transfermarkt estimates his current market value to be €12.00m.
