Nineteen-year-old Olly Whyte is on loan at League One club Stenhousemuir from his parent club Motherwell. Whyte has received positive reviews for his performances and said he was looking forward to the move to gain more experience, following a previous loan period at Cowdenbeath. He feels he has the trust of Stenhousemuir manager Gary Naysmith, who has given him a high number of minutes on the pitch. Whyte still trains with Motherwell during the week and hopes his form will impress their manager, Jens Berthel Askou, as his immediate goal is to earn a new contract at Fir Park with his current deal set to expire in the summer.
