Pete O’Rourke reports that Preston North End are interested in a loan move for Leicester City midfielder Oliver Skipp, who is considered a potential replacement for captain Ben Whiteman. Skipp is a 25-year-old English former Tottenham player who would bring Premier League and Championship-winning experience. The midfielder joined Leicester in August 2024 and is under contract until June 2029. According to Transfermarkt, he has a current market value of €4.00m. Skipp has been capped 24 times for the England U21 team, and Middlesbrough have also shown interest in him.
