Leeds United is following Hajduk's 22-year-old defensive midfielder, Niko Sigur. Valencia, Celtic, and Coventry City are also monitoring the Canadian international, who has earned 22 caps and scored 2 goals for his country. Celtic made a €3.5 million offer, which was not sufficient for the Split-based club. A deal with the Scottish club for a similar fee was reportedly agreed upon in January 2026 before it was put on hold. Hajduk is seeking between four and five million euros for the player, who joined the club in April 2023 and is under contract until May 2028. It has been confirmed to Index that French club Toulouse has submitted a formal bid of around two million euros. Transfermarkt estimates Sigur's current market value at €4.00m.
