Coventry City, Valencia, Celtic, and Leeds United are among the clubs following Niko Sigur, a 22-year-old defensive midfielder for Hajduk who also holds Croatian citizenship. Celtic submitted a €3.5 million offer that was rejected. Hajduk is reportedly seeking between four and five million euros for the player, who is a Canadian international with 22 caps and 2 goals for his country. The French club Toulouse has also made a concrete offer of around two million euros, an amount that is approximately half of what Hajduk is hoping to receive. The Croatian club is not rushing to sell Sigur, as he joined in April 2023 and his contract runs until the summer of 2028, placing them in a strong position for negotiations. His current market value is €4.00m, according to Transfermarkt.
