Robin Gonzalez had a concrete offer from Istra 1961 this past summer, but Vukovar blocked the transfer. This decision contradicted the club's earlier stance that they would allow the player to leave, and Gonzalez is reportedly disheartened and irritated. His contract with HNK Vukovar 1991 expires in June 2027, and there was alleged interest from Dinamo Kijev and Trabzonspor the previous winter.
