Aris Thessaloniki are seriously interested in signing 28-year-old Italian Bologna centre-back Nicolò Casale. It is reported that the Greek club is seeking to strengthen its central defence. Casale is under contract with the Italian side until the summer of 2028. Bologna acquired him from Lazio last summer for a fee of €6.5 million. There is currently no agreement for a transfer. Transfermarkt estimates his current market value at €3.8 million. His previous transfer from Hellas Verona to Lazio in July 2022 was for a reported €7.0 million. Other clubs, including Monza, Venezia, and Watford, have also been linked with the defender, who has not yet been capped by the Italian national team.
