Nicolò Barella is on Newcastle United's wishlist to boost the squad ahead of Champions League football next term. Newcastle have drawn up a three-man wishlist of new recruits to be funded by Alexander Isak’s proposed £150 million sale to Liverpool. The 28-year-old Italian Inter midfielder is among the targets, along with RB Leipzig’s Benjamin Šeško and Bayer Leverkusen’s Piero Hincapié. Barella's contract with Inter runs until June 2029, and his market value is estimated by Transfermarkt to be €75 million; Real Madrid has also recently been linked with him.
