According to Football Insider, his loan could have been terminated early, and Premier League side Everton was reportedly interested in a permanent transfer. However, the German publication BILD has denied reports of a winter departure, stating the player will remain at the Allianz Arena until at least the summer. The loan deal contains a €65 million obligation-to-buy clause if Jackson starts 40 games, but club honorary president Uli Hoeness has confirmed this condition will not be fulfilled. BILD also noted that the on-loan striker is determined to finish the season successfully. The forward, who has 23 caps and 3 goals for Senegal, has made one appearance in the Bundesliga this season. His contract with his parent club Chelsea runs until 2033, and Transfermarkt estimates his current market value to be €50 million.
