Nottingham Forest manager Sean Dyche wanted to sign Newcastle's 33-year-old goalkeeper Nick Pope during the January transfer window. However, a transfer for the England international was not completed. Pope joined Newcastle in July 2022 and his contract is set to expire in June 2026.
