Fiorentina and Bayer Leverkusen are monitoring Watford's 20-year-old Australian winger Nestory Irankunda. Everton are also among the clubs interested in signing the player in the summer. It is claimed that the Championship side could demand a fee of around £17m. A potential deal is complicated by a buy-back clause and a 50% sell-on fee held by Bayern Munich. Irankunda joined Watford in July 2025, and his contract runs until 2030. He has 13 caps and 5 goals for Australia, and Transfermarkt estimates his current market value to be €6.00m.
