Nathan-Dylan Saliba Transfer from CF Montréal to Anderlecht
Anderlecht has shown interest in Nathan-Dylan Saliba from CF Montréal and has made an official bid of €2.7 million, including bonuses. The deal is expected to be concluded soon.
Anderlecht, guided by sporting director Olivier Renard, is showing interest in acquiring Nathan-Dylan Saliba, a 21-year-old defensive midfielder from Montreal. Renard, who has experience with the Major League Soccer market due to his previous role at Montreal Impact, sees Saliba as a valuable addition. Saliba's market value stands at 2.5 million euros, according to Transfermarkt. His current contract with Montreal is set to expire on December 31, 2025, though the club holds an option to extend it for an additional year. Despite Renard's familiarity with the player, the Canadian MLS club seems reluctant to allow their former sporting director to easily sign Saliba. As a promising young player, Saliba aligns with Renard's plan to develop a youthful midfield at Anderlecht, a strategy evident in the recent acquisitions of Cédric Hatenboer and Mihajlo Cvetkovic.
