A breakthrough has been reached in negotiations with Watford, and it is reported that Boadu was present at the match against West Ham United last Saturday. The forward is expected to undergo his medical examination on Tuesday before joining the squad. Boadu has earned one cap for the Netherlands and has scored one goal, and Transfermarkt estimates his market value to be €4.00m.
