Moussa Djenepo Transfer from Standard Liège to Leeds United
Leeds United are reportedly interested in bringing Moussa Djenepo back to England following their promotion to the English Premier League. Djenepo, who has a release clause of £1.7m, is said to be eager to leave Antalyaspor because of unpaid wages. The interest from Leeds United is further intensified by the fact that 49ers Enterprises, which is taking over Rangers, also owns Leeds United. The Mali international, capped 36 times, previously played for Southampton after transferring from Standard Liege for £14m. He returned to Belgium two years ago for approximately £3m before being loaned to Antalyaspor. Both Rangers and Israeli club Maccabi Tel Aviv have also expressed interest in the left-sided winger, who is versatile enough to play as a full back. This makes the transfer situation even more intriguing given the shared ownership between Leeds and Rangers.
